From hotel Plantation - a former French gouvernmental building - we explored Phnom Penh. We visited the beautiful buildings of the Royal palace, although it was almost not allowed to visit the interior. After visiting the Royal Palace we took a TukTuk to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. In this former school, the ‘Kmer Rouge’ used the school between April 1975 and 1979 as a secret prison where opponents of the ‘Kmer Rouge’ were tortured.
